MCC retain their Gold Reserves after a tough Lands End

It was a tough Lands End. Competitors had to contend with heavy rain, high winds, a heavily doctored Crackington and a flooded Blue Hills One. The result was a mere seven Golds in addition to the Class Awards.

Dick Glossop won The March Hare Trial

Passengered by local Simon Robson Dick won with a clean sheet in his Leige, pipping last year’s winner Lee Peck (Kraken) on Special Test Times. Trevor Wood (Leige) was 3rd, dropping two marks.

Northern Trial Report by Keith Thomas

Last year Buckler enthuiast Keith Thomas bounced Carl Talbot to a win in his Morris Trialsmaster. He had hoped to do the same this year with Carl in his new Buckler. Unfortunately the car wasn’t ready so Keith went into the forests to lend a hand with the event, notebook and camera in hand.

Aaron Haizelden wins Clee Hills

It was muddy trial with a few delays. The event was dominated by the Haizelden family, with Dave having to give best to Aaron on ST times after they both finished with five marks lost. Sam Holmes was third in his Beetle also dropping five.
